Are there any specific requirements to sign up?

No - you just need to have an email address and/or mobile phone, credit/debit card and be over 18 years old.

How do I buy a ticket?

You must book via the booking process.

I'm not single, can I still go?

All our Speed Dating and Singles events are for people who are single. Everyone attending our events have paid money to be there and will be single and looking to find someone. Unless otherwise noted, our events are typically geared towards single professionals.

Event Questions & Answers

What is the format for a speed dating/singles event?

When you arrive you will be greeted by our Ice-breaker hosts who will register you and supply you with your name badge and scorecard. You will be given the opportunity to unwind at the bar while the Face2Face host runs-through how the speed dating works and answers any questions you may have before the dating session begins.

Our speed dating evening are organized so that there are plenty of breaks for you to grab a drink at the bar and mingle further with the other guests.

After the speed dating sessions have finished, don't go rushing off, as the evening doesn't end there - the bar stays open and the guests usually stay on and mingle to get to know each other better.

At the end of the speed dating sessions, guests take their scorecards to their event coordinator. If someone you have "ticked" has also ticked you, then you both have a "match"! Your event coordinator will email you your matches and their email address with a brief description to jog your memory!

How long does an Face2Face event last?

The organized element of a speed dating or brunch dating event lasts for around 3 hours, including the breaks, depending on the number of guests attending. Most of our guests stay behind after the event for a few drinks and since the ice is broken already, find that this is a great opportunity to get to know each other a little better.

For a private party, the organized event lasts all evening and until the bar closes. These events usually start around 7:00 pm and go on until midnight. Please check exact times for the advertised event you are interested in.

How many dates will I get at an Face2Face event?

This is dependent on the size of the venue and type of event, but at a speed dating or brunch dating event you will normally get around 10 to 20 dates. We purposely limit the number of dates you have in one night, as experience has shown us that any more than this can prove intensive and tiring and reduces the time you have to mingle and relax after the dating sessions.

At an Face2Face singles party or private party event, while optional speed dating usually takes place at these events, guests are able to approach as many guests as they wish throughout the course of the evening through the various activities taking place.
These parties suit people who are comfortable in a private party situation, since you are not guaranteed to meet all guests, but there is a chance to spend as long as you wish with the people you like.

Is six minutes per date long enough?

Six minutes can seem like a very long time with someone you don't like! In our experience six minutes is just about the right amount of time to decide whether there's any chemistry and you're prepared to invest a couple of hours in a follow-up date.

Can I go to more than one speed dating or singles event?

Definitely - we host several events across the St. Louis metro area every week, so you can go to as many events as you like.

Initially, many people attend their first speed dating or singles event session alone, but after realizing how fun the Face2Face events are, they often return with their friends.

Also, as most people at each event will be new to speed dating, the more events you attend, the higher your chances are of meeting that special person!

What payment cards do you accept?

Through our fully secure payment system, we can accept payment through the following cards - VISA, MasterCard, Discover.

When will I be charged?

We charge your credit/debit card immediately upon you booking your ticket to an Face2Face event.

What name appears on my credit/debit card statement?

Your booking will be charged to your credit/debit card in the name of Face to Face, LLC

Why do I have to pay in advance?

Face2Face singles events continue to be so successful because our ratio of male/female guests remains equal. We have ample guests at each private event and limited space. We find our events get booked up very early and therefore the only way we can remain confident of maintaining this success is for guests to pay in advance to secure their place.

How do I know my payment is secure?

Our booking procedure is fully secure and uses a very complex 128 bit fully encrypted SSL server - please note the padlock in the bottom right hand corner of the screen when booking. Please see our privacy statement for further information if required.

Can I pay at the door?

We need to ensure that our ratio of males/females is an equal and balanced number. Therefore we can not risk throwing off this balance.

General Questions & Answers

What is your cancellation policy?

We are not able to accept cancellations, as the quality and success of our events would be compromised by an uneven ratio of males/females. However, if you are able to provide us with at least 72 hours notice via email, we will do our best to move you to another Face2Face event. If we are able to move you to another event, you will be charged an additional $5 transfer fee.

How should I dress?

The most important thing is to wear what you feel comfortable in. A lot of our guests come straight from work, so suits etc. are fine. However, remember that you are trying to make a good impression at speed dating and singles events, first impressions count!

What sorts of people go to a speed dating/singles event?

Most of our guests are professionals looking for a fun time and to meet new people. They are normal, interesting and attractive people who just don't have time to meet other like-minded singles, through work pressures, hectic lifestyles or closed social groups.

Do many people go on their own?

Approximately 30% of women & 60% of men attend a speed dating event on their own. This number is higher for both our singles parties and lock & key parties.

Can I bring a friend?

Definitely - you are very welcome to bring friends along with you and many of our guests do. With our simple booking system, you are able to book tickets for as many of your friends as you wish at the same time you book your own ticket.

How do I find out the location of the Face2Face event?

You are able to find out the exact address and see a map of all our venues, by simply clicking on the venue from our website. We also send an email confirmation with directions before the event you have booked to attend.

I can't find any events in my area - what can I do?

We organize new events throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan area all the time. If there are no events listed for your area at the time, please feel free to contact us via email or call us on 314-568-2000 and we can put you on a waiting list for when a new event is released in your area, so you will be the first to know!
